# Row reactions

> Use up ticks, down ticks, and emoji reactions to signal feedback on projects, collections, and assets.

Row reactions let you add quick feedback to items in a project or collection list. Reactions are shown in **List view**, beside the star at the right side of each row.

## Add an up or down tick

Use the green up arrow to add an up tick. Use the red down arrow to add a down tick.

The number beside each arrow is the total count from everyone who reacted to that item. Click your selected arrow again to clear your tick, or click the other arrow to switch.

## Add an emoji reaction

Click the emoji button beside the arrows to open the reaction menu. Choose an emoji to add your reaction.

The emoji button shows the total number of emoji reactions on that row. The menu shows each available emoji with its count. If you already selected an emoji, selecting it again clears your emoji reaction.

## Where reactions appear

Reactions are row actions. They do not change a project, collection, or asset name, and they do not place emoji beside object icons. Switch to **List view** to see and update reactions.

## Access

You can react to projects, collections, and assets you can find in Dataerai, including items shared with you. Your reaction does not grant access to the item and does not change who else can see it.
